Niños: All ages welcome. This will be a memorable experience for the whole family. However, keep in mind that the swim into Playa Amor is not accessible for children under 10. The current can be quite intense so this is non-negotiable for your child’s safety. Snorkeling the islands though is just fine for all little swimmers. If you are traveling with toddlers, we recommend you bring your own appropriately sized life vest with you on your trip to Puerto Vallarta.

Restricciones: Access to Playa Amor is restricted to strong swimmers in good physical health. Bathrooms on board are below deck. So you must be able to climb up and down a ladder to access the cabin below.

Sugerencias: Hidden Beach is one of the most sought-after sites! Are you ready for the challenge of swimming into Marietas' hidden beach (Playa del Amor)? Please note that visiting the hidden beach is subject to weather conditions (not guaranteed). It is a challenging swim to enter and exit, but well worth it if you are up to the challenge.

Cruise Ship Passengers: This is a great Private Vallarta shore excursion. The marina is only 8 minutes away by Taxi from the cruise ship port. We can cater the start and return times for your cruise ship, but you will need a minimum of 9 hours in port.

Important Special Notes about Playa del Amor:

• Restricted for kids under 10 years and adults over 65 years.
• Must be strong swimmer
• Good physical condition
• Entrance will be restricted if client does not meet the reequipments.
• Access to the hidden beach is exclusively by swimming.
• 15 people allowed every 30 minutes (the includes the swim time to the beach)
• Life jacket and helmet are mandatory (Provided by your Vessel & Guide)
• Entrance to Hidden Beach (Playa del Amor) is subjected to the Sea & Tide conditions (NOT a Guarantee).
• Access is allowed for people from 10 to 65 years old. Restricted access to people with a Physical Disability, Heart conditions, Claustrophobia and women over 6 months pregnancy.
• The use of kayaks and paddle Boards can be done only on the outside of the protected area.
• We recommend the use of oil base suntan lotions as well as biodegradable sunscreen lotions.
• Please do no contaminate don’t throw trash to the sea.
• All visitors must have their bracelets on place.
• Life jacket mandatory for snorkeling or swimming on the specified areas for these activities.
• Playa Nopalera: Access by water taxi (panga) or tender only, Maximum 10 people per guide.

The Following Are Prohibited in the Marietas Islands National Marine Park:

• Consuming alcoholic beverages or smoking within the national park
• Drone pictures/videos without previous consent from (CONANP)
• Sport/commercial fishing or scuba diving into the hidden beach nor preserve areas
• The use of fins, mask and snorkeling gear in unspecified areas of the national park
• The use of guns, darts, spears, hooks or any item that could cause a damage to the flora and fauna
• Pour or throw any kind of pollutant
• The use of high-speed motorized vehicles (Jet ski, water ski or any other related)
• Feed the wild fauna, Bring in exotic species or the access to the islands
